Does Registration Guarantee Acceptance?
Registration serves to reserve your spot at a session, but does not guarantee acceptance. FIT staff reviews all prospective participants to ensure applicants have:
Active, in-state (California), educator status
Provided complete answers to the registration questionnaire
Please review FAQs before registering.
Early bird applications are reviewed January 31st and participants can expect follow-up correspondence from session directors once accepted.
Participant Health and Safety
To ensure the safety of your educator colleagues, participants are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to acquire the COVID-19 vaccination and boosters.
We ask all participants to follow Center for Disease Control (CDC) and local Health and Human Services Agency guidelines.
COVID-19 safety guidelines will vary depending on session facility.
2027 Summer FIT:
Registration Open
Register by December 31, 2026 for the $200 early bird rate
$250 registration fee covers: on-site accommodations, meals, teaching materials, and program resources. You are responsible for coordinating personal travel to/from your chosen session. Registration closes approximately 3 weeks before each session’s start [SPACE IS LIMITED - APPLY EARLY]
